Version 1.11

These are the changes and bug fixes that were updated in version 1.11 of the MDS and FDS.

Version 1.11 Change log​

Component updates​

  • Added Hero slider container component and Hero slider item component that can be used to feature any hero component in a Hero slider.

The original slider hero has been disabled, this will continue to work in sites where it has already been implemented but will not be able to select for the new websites

  • Updated the Content selector field to be mandatory in the Dynamic UI Container component.
  • Added RTL support for the following components:
    • Text and foreground image hero
    • Text and background image hero
    • Video hero
    • Slider hero
    • Shallow hero
    • No link - Block 1 - Image & text vertical
    • Link - Block 1 - Image and text vertical
    • No link - Slider 1 - Image & text vertical

Styling and SGM updates​

  • Added styling for the Buy Now menu item.
  • Added H2 styling options to Slider hero in the SGM. The settings can be used to style the H2's within the Hero slider so they visually look the same as the H1. You can place an H2 in a hero by using the WYSIWYG editor.
  • Updated the Link focus colour to split white and blue so it shows on any background.
  • Added styling to Commerce Connect implementation.

Other

  • Updated functionality of Share block to be translatable.
  • Added Commerce Connect functionality to the Product template and the Product teaser template.

Version 1.11 Bug fixes​

  • Fixed a bug where the SGM styling setting was not applying to the header utility menu.
  • Fixed a bug where the alignment options were not working correctly on the following: 
    • Text and foreground image hero
    • Text and background image hero
    • Slider hero
  • Fixed a bug where the text/image ordering functionality was not working correctly on the following: 
    • No link - Block 1
    • Modal - Block 1
    • Link - Block 1
    • No link - Slider 1
    • Modal - Slider 1
    • Link - Slider 1
  • Fixed a bug where the Main Menu down arrows was not correctly aligning.
  • Fixed a bug where sometimes the Utility bar would show even if it had no content on mobile.
