Version 2.87.0 - 2025-05-26

These are the changes and bug fixes that were updated in version 2.87.0 of the MDS and FDS.

Version 2.87.0 Change log

Component Updates :

• Full width container
  • Added option for a transparent layer over background image to improve contrast when there is text on top of the image.
  • Following configs are added:
    • Enable background overlay: This toggle will enable an overlay on top of the background image and behind the text area.
    • Select "Use color or use gradient" : choose between overlay as gradient or color ,According to the selection overlay is applied utilizing the existing background color and gradient options in the background; so that user do not need to add the color/gradient again.
    • Opacity: In addition to applying the color or gradient as overlay, separately specify the transparency for this according to the requirement. This ranges from 0 to 1 and can be decimal(0.5 means 50% opacity and 1 means 100% opacity etc.).

Other Updates :

• Accordion item component - Accordion title no-padding option is corrected and user will be able to select no-padding option for Accordion item component title section.
• Responsive blocks - Drop-shadow stylings are corrected so that it is visible correctly at the container edges as well.
• Accessibility fix - "Non-decorative content in pseudo classes" - Style updates done for unordered list items, search icon in the header and menu dropdown icon.

Bug Fixes :

• Modal popup issue resolved - There was an issue when the modal popup is configured as auto-open with a delay; during this delay time period the page was not scrollable or not responsive. This issue is resolved.
• New accordion styles added in previous release were having an issue when added in Product page right side layout canvas. This issue is resolved.
