These are the changes and bug fixes that were updated in version 2.12.0 of the MDS and FDS.

Version 2.12.0 Change log​

Component updates​

  • We've added additional video playback functionality which allows the user to configure the video elements to play within the container for the following components: 
    • Responsive block - Link - Block 7 - Video only
    • Link - Slide 6 - Video only
  • We have configured all Slider components to have full RTL configuration, this will now reflect the direction the slides move, the navigation & pagination and the content.
  • We've added an image styling override to hero components, the purpose of this is to offer the user the option to turn this off to help improve the quality of your background images. Please note: This should only be turned off if you are certain you have optimised your images to work for the components, this option is available for: 
    • Slider hero
    • Slider hero container
    • Text and foreground image hero
    • Text and background image hero
    • Shallow hero

Styling and SGM updates:​

  • We've added a new styling option within the SGM called 'Active states' this will allow you to add a styling option for menu items to display an 'Active state' styling for active pages. You can find this within the SGM > Header > Primary menu > Primary menu - active font colour.
  • Users now have the option to apply a background colour to product pages for the following areas, please note that you cannot assign the colours separately to each section: 
    • Product description section
    • Right layout canvas section

Other:​

  • Bazaar Voice integration will now only display if a valid 'Product ID' is entered.
  • One Trust RTL configuration now works for 3 button layout.

Version 2.12.0 Bug fixes​

  • Fixed a bug where on Responsive block components content was overlapping the container.
  • Fixed a bug where alt attributes/text were not displaying for all content types.
  • Fixed a bug where the 3-button configuration for the 'One Trust Cookie Banner' was not aligned horizontally centre.
  • Fixed a bug where the 'Slider hero' components Play/Pause colour override within the component was not displaying the assigned colour.
