Version 1.8

These are the changes and bug fixes that were updated in version 1.8 of the MDS and FDS.

Version 1.8 Change log​

Component updates​

  • Added the option to upload a separate background image on mobile for Content panel components
  • Added the Cookie Consent component

Styling and SGM updates​

  • Added styling for multiple menus within the sitemap
  • Added the option to move the floating action button away from the browser edge
  • Added the option to display the floating action button image above or to the left of the text
  • Added the option to configure the width of the floating action button
  • Added the option to configure the height of the floating action button
  • Added the option to change the border radius of the floating action button
  • Removed font size and font colours set on the text within the floating action button, text will now be styled within the WYSIWYG

  • Added the option to choose widths for form elements
  • Added styling for radio buttons in forms
  • AdChoices logo now appears inline with the menu text
  • Added space between breadcrumbs that wrap on multiple lines
  • Removed the blue outline that appeared around components when clicked
  • Long URLs that would normally bleed out of the container on mobile can now have the class url-break applied which will make them break/wrap correctly.

Other​

  • Resolved accessibility issues in Cohesion templates
  • FDS now includes change logs

Version 1.8 Bug fixes​

  • Resolved issues where large foreground images would sometimes cause a horizontal scroll in IE11
  • Fixed a bug where content within RB3 would sometimes bleed outside of its container in IE11
  • Fixed a bug where a 1px space would be added between some components in IE11
  • Fixed a bug where the pagination next arrow would appear on a different line in IE11
  • Fixed a bug where the main menu items would sometimes not wrap and cause a horizontal scroll bar in IE11
  • Fixed a bug where on IE11 the ‘Text and foreground image hero’ background was not correctly sized
  • Fixed a bug where the Pollen forecast would not display full width on mobile
  • Fixed a bug where the product gallery was not aligned with the header
  • Fixed a bug where the button inside the product teasers would sometimes not align to the bottom of the teaser
  • Fixed a bug where the print icon would jitter on hover in IE11
